a passport with the wrong name...

So no one tells you that when you get married, there's a lot of paperwork (for the bride) during the name change process. Well, I thought I had changed everything last summer, until I dusted off my passport and realized that it is in my maiden name!! So 4 weeks of waiting and $75 later, my passport is now officially Rebecca Gray....and I'm off to Japan in a little over a month. I've been chatting with my friend Lori who lives in Tokyo and she has been filling me in on all things Japanese. I think she's as excited as I am about this whole experience. Oh...and even better news!! I found out today that the prefecture (state) I have been assigned to visit during part of the program is really close to where Lori lives.
